We finally got the kitchen sink unclogged. Heather suggested using her mom's plunger. It worked great, and we can actually wash dishes now. All we need to complete our new home is a shower curtain rod!
Anyway, Heather and I are watching Charmed Season 6 while I apply for jobs. There doesn't seem to be too many, but I'll keep trying.

new place and other news...

It's interesting how quickly things can change. I called my parents to see if they could pay for me to move out of the house. At first they wanted me to move back to VA with them, but after some discussion, they agreed to help me move out but stay in Mississippi. I called around and found a trailer for $200 a month. So they are paying the rent and electric bill for 6 months to give me time to find some income, be it a job, or social security. Heather's mom is paying for food, gas, and whatever else we need, like cat litter and so forth.
Speaking of Heather, we have gotten back together. It turns out the guy she was talking to is a complete dick. I figured he was, but she needed to discover this on her own. We are closer than ever, and have discussed what happened and why, and everything is cool now. She agreed with what I told her, that we were made for each other. I have also agreed to fight my anxiety and try to find and hold down a job.
Things are good. My girlfriend and I are all moved in, we have plenty of food, and we love the new place!

I decided to shut down Shadow Reverist and instead focus on the sites I have now. My extreme fantasy and general interest forum, Darkness Dissolution, is going good, and when you navigate to the root folder, you now see links to the The Avulsion Network. I will of course continue to mod my various sites adding features here and there.
In other news, the air coniditoner is being delivered today, and I got the lights turned on at my trailer. I'm hoping to be moved in after just a few days!

A/C and updates!

I decided to check Walmart.com for air conditioners and I found an 8000 BTU GE A/C for $150! It was marked down from $195 which is what they are at the store. I used the $150 gift card my parents sent me, plus $10 from Paypal and ordered it. It has free shipping too! I'm hoping to have it next week.
The landlord said I can move in whenever I want. I think I'll start moving stuff maybe tomorrow if they've had a chance to put the new lock on the door. I plan to get the lights turned on Monday and will have everything moved except the computer by the time the A/C arrives.
I'm very excited and can't wait to start living there!

I'm pretty excited to moving out to my own place soon. I am renting a nice trailer for like $200 a month with water and trash covered. I'm hoping to move in next week! I'm gonna buy a nice 8000 BTU A/C and will have my computer as well. I'm bringing my three cats and guinea pig.
Overall, I'm nervous, but very excited!

new site and general updates...

I launched a new all ages social networking site: Shadow Reverist. All my friends here are of course welcome to join. I decided to step away from the extreme fantasy adult content all my sites are based around, and see what happens.
Something odd did occur tho. I got an e-mail earlier today saying that the main file that runs the new site had been disabled for using too many CPU resources on the server. I'm not sure what would have caused that as it only has 3 members, including me, and no activity yet. I advertised it on several sites and submitted it to some directories and search engines, but I don't understand what would have produced this problem. I called tech support and got it re-enabled and I adjusted some settings that increase bandwidth but reduce CPU usage. I hope it works because I really like the new site.
I've come to a realization about Heather and I. I believe that she doesn't really care for this guy in Texas the way she cares (cared?) about me, and is using her "relationship" with him as an excuse for leaving me and so that she won't feel guilty about it. I just don't understand how 4 years, good and bad, can be brushed aside so easily for a guy that I don't realistically see her ever actually getting with.
Heather is an adult, and if she wants to keep up this masquerade and pretend to want to be with this other guy, I can't stop her. But I hope she doesn't think I'm gonna just wait around for her to change her mind...

I decided to go back to the second version of the tabs on Avulsion Net as they work perfectly with the Wall plugin as well as other add-ons. The content is not dynamically loaded, but it still looks and works great.
For some reason the site notifications feature stopped working on Avulsion Net so people wouldn't even realize they had new messages, etc. But I was browsing a support site for the software I use and found a fix. It seems to work now, but I am waiting for some updates before I know for sure.
Heather and I ate at Sonic today. I know we are no longer together, and it still bothers me, but I don't want to hate her or be enemies. Especially since I'll be living here awhile longer until I get approved for social security.
Nothing else going on right now, Heather is napping and I'm messing around on-line.

My parents are sending me a couple hundred bucks which I'll put towards the doctor appointment and Cindy is hopefully giving me $100 the beginning of July, so I should be able to cover everything. Last time I talked to the lawyer, they were still getting my records so hopefully I still have some time before I have to come up with the $375.
I still can't get the Wall plugin to work on Avulsion Net with the AJAX tabs so I decided to leave well enough alone and used the regular activity feed for the main page. It works great on profile pages, so people can leave comments and such there.
I've resumed work on my Lance Saga. It is novel length right now but needs a lot of work and has many unfinished sections. I finished up a few of them and posted them on a few selected forums, including my own.
Not much else going on right now and I think I may run to Sonic sometime tomorrow to redeem my free large milkshake coupon then go hang out at the park.

updates and I feel pretty good now....

My girlfriend and I are officially broke up, but you know what, it's all good. I'm not gonna sit here and mope about it and be depressed. You never know what to expect from life, and just because I got thrown a curve ball, doesn't mean I'm gonna stop living. I'm gonna keep my focus on getting approved for social security, and when I do, I'm gonna move to a nice trailer park that is very affordable.
I also plan to build a new computer based on the AMD Phenom II quad core CPU. It is one hell of a processor, each core running at 3.0 gigahertz (or 3.2 depending on which one I get). It is cheap too, less than $200. I have most of the parts picked out and it will prolly be a little less than $2000. I plan on running Linux Xubunto and might dual boot with Windows XP so I can game. But I hear you can run Windows apps under Linux using something called "Wine", so I might do that and have no Windows on it at all. I want to get a 1 terabyte hard drive as well.
In other news, it's been nice not having to work anymore. I did spend money that was put up for a doctor's appointment, but I asked to borrow it from my sisters to replace it, so we'll see what happens.
I feel much better today and like I said, I'm tired of being down. I'm alive, I have a roof over my head, I have my kitties, I am well fed, etc, sovI really have nothing to complain about....

I have my first court date next Tuesday. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I don't think I'll be in too much trouble as I've never been arrested before in my entire life and the stuff I stole was only like $60.
In the morning I am finally getting my car insured. I got a ticket for not being insured and that is my second court date, later in May.
Not much else going on, other than I decided to open this blog again!
